About Kathy:
For as far back as I can remember, I have loved animals and art. When the pandemic forced an early retirement, I began to take classes in watercolor online. At first I tried my hand at botanicals and then birds, but nothing struck a chord in me until I tried painting animals. I love their expressions. It’s as if they’re trying to tell us something, and capturing that with paint and paper is nothing short of magic.
I am very fortunate to live in rural Montana where the abundance of wildlife makes observing these amazing animals in their natural habitat especially joyful.
